Patan is a destination for connoisseurs of fine arts, which is filled with wood and stone carvings, metal statues, ornate architecture, including dozens of Buddhists and Hindus temples and over 1200 monuments. The city is known for its rich tradition of arts and handicrafts and as the birthplace of master craftsmen and artists such as Araniko and Kuber Singh Shakya. It is home to many cultures, intriguing locations, fascinating Newari people, internal and external tourists, and photographers across the globe have made it their mission to tell their story.
Personally, Patan is the frequently visited destination for me. I have captured many photographs of the structures, monuments, people and temples of the Patan Durbar Square. Some glimpse that I have captured in one of the spirited places of Patan is one of the legendary sites for me.
